Carmenism (Karmenism) - what's that?

Welcome to our first post! You may be asking, "What's a carmenism?" Well, that's a great question! It's our Mom's unintentional unique way of botching up a word, phrase, or action. For example, it is when mom says,
"Nexflex" instead of "Netflix"
or
"Westchester" instead of "Winchester"
or
"Bock Bock" instead of "Baklava"
or the classic,
"Threadmeal" instead of "Treadmill"
...just to name a few. It's cute. Unforgettable. Hilarious. It's a Carmenism (aka Karmenism).
While this site may have some serious blog posts, stories, or health updates, it is our hope that you will not only pray alongside us for our Mom, Grandma, Great-grandma, Tia, and friend, but encourage, cry, and LAUGH with her/us. After all, as Proverbs 17:22 reminds us, "A joyful heart is good medicine, But a broken spirit dries up the bones." (NASB). So let's find opportunities to be joyful and laugh. Thanks for reading. Stay tuned for some health updates on Mom.
In Christ's Love,
The Villarreals
