Breaking News: Carmen's Shoulder Gets Its Freedom Papers! 🎉

Stop the presses, folks! We've got more great news than a double coupon day at the grocery store!

First up: Mom's shoulder has officially graduated from medical school! Dr. Schlimmer (our favorite not-Bond-villain) gave it straight A's at today's follow-up appointment. The incisions are looking so good, they could be on the cover of "Medical Monthly" (if that were a thing).

But wait, there's more! The infamous sling has been officially retired! That's right - after a brief but memorable career as Mom's fashion accessory, the sling has been given its pink slip. Though we hear it's already writing a memoir titled "Hanging Around: My Life Supporting Carmen."

The really big news? Mom's got the green light to start pushing that shoulder around (moderately, of course - we're not training for the Olympics here... yet). She'll be spending the next three days at rehab, probably showing off her new moves and inventing new Carmenisms for "physical therapy." She's also on track to be released Monday to go home and start home health/therapy.

Quick PSA: Mom still isn't allowed to drive. So no, you won't see her auditioning for "Fast & Furious 27: Corpus Christi Drift" just yet.

Meanwhile, in other Villarreal medical news, Grace has been prescribed another week of "Nexflex" and rest. We're pretty sure her doctors are just big fans of her TV reviews at this point!

As mom would say, we're "on the line" with gratitude for all your prayers and support! Next surgeon check-up is in one month, but who's counting? (We are. We totally are.)
