Breaking news: The Villarreal Medical Tour 2024 is officially taking an intermission!

Mom made her grand exit from the rehabilitation hospital today, and let me tell you, it was less "careful discharge" and more "dance party spectacular." There she was, channeling her inner Chubby Checker, practically ready to twist again like we did last summer! (Though we might need to rename it "The Modified Shoulder-Friendly Twist" for now.)

Speaking of medical adventures, at last week's follow-up appointment, Mom had barely let the surgeon catch his breath before launching into her next production: "Operation Knee Replacement"! That's right, folks - she's already auditioning her other joints for starring roles. Talk about being a glutton for punishment! But hey, when you've got moves like Carmen, why stop at one new joint?

Meanwhile, Gracie continues her own recovery tour from home. And yours truly? I'm finally home too, at least until the next episode of "As The Hospital Turns." (Though between you and me, I think we've had enough seasons for now!)

To our amazing support crew YOU: THANK YOU for the prayers, the food ( speaking of, I became such a regular at the hospital cafeteria, they were about to name a sandwich after me!), the quality time, the hugs, and most importantly, your love. You've all earned honorary degrees in "Advanced Villarreal Care-Taking"!
