1 Samuel 17:50-53

David defeated Goliath with a sling and a rock. He killed him without even using a sword. David ran over and pulled out Goliath's sword. Then he used it to cut off Goliath's head.

When the day came for David  to face Goliath, he recounted how he killed both lion and bear to defend his father's sheep. He stated  he struck them and killed them to rescue the sheep from their mouths, and sometimes grabbed them by the hair.

Your struggles may not be because you don’t pray the right way, or because you didn't pray enough, or because you have a weak faith.

It could be God is using and preparing you in ways that you may not understand now just like David, but one day when you’re Goliath presents itself you will. One day you’ll see how and why God used your struggles and affliction to prepare you for the breakthrough and blessings you would otherwise be unprepared for.

Father God, David's triumph exemplifies not just a physical battle, but also a spiritual truth about faith, courage, and Your divine support in our struggles.

Help us be relentless in the pursuit of righteousness in our lives and  be confident in the battles we face knowing that with You on our side, we cannot fail. In Jesus name we pray, Amen….
