Alert and On a Mission: Carmen’s Rehab Saga, One "Medwell" Call at a Time!

Greetings and blessings, brothers and sisters in Christ!

Mom is here, sending her greetings to the world with a big, bold "I am ALERT!" That's right now that the pain meds are figured out (yesterday was kind of a rough day)—she’s not just awake, she’s ready for the whole P/T parade. Her sharp (and let’s be honest, slightly bossy) self is back, folks. She’s taking on everything from critiquing the “P/T fella” and his “too-skinny, what-is-he-trying-to-prove squats,” (ha ha j/k) to doing battle with... "Medwell" (yep we got another carmenism), we mean Wellmed...in her quest for rehab approval.

Yes, there she was, demanding I put the phone on speaker phone, giving her best “telenovela stare” as I held the line - she was ready to charm or strong-arm the Medwell agents into submission. She/we may be waiting on the “final” final approval or denial for CCRehab, but in the Lords words, “No weapon formed against us will prosper!” Amen to that!
