Proverbs 13:11 states that wealth obtained dishonestly or through frivolous means will diminish, while wealth gained through diligent labor will increase.

The verse emphasizes the importance of hard work and honesty in building and maintaining prosperity. 

Wealth obtained through ill-gotten gains, shortcuts, get-rich-quick schemes, fraud,

lies, gambling, cheating or dishonest practices rather than due diligence

in the Lord is destined to dwindle away. However, wealth earned through obedience to God and honest labor will grow over time. The verse highlights the importance of integrity in the Lord and hard work for financial stability.

Father God, thank You for instructing us how to increase wealth through honest labor. Help us distinguish between wealth gained through hard work and what comes through dishonest means. Grant us wisdom to discern what is truly valuable and the diligence to pursue it correctly. May all that we possess, financial, physical or spiritual be a reflection of Your righteousness.  Lord keep us mindful of biblical integrity in the way we approach life and live our lives.
