John 20:29-31 reads: "Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."
This passage emphasizes the importance of faith based on testimony rather than direct experience. John 20:31 is not just a historical statement. It’s relevant today and speaks to the nature of faith and the power of believing in Jesus as the Christ, even without physical encounters.
Lord Jesus, I believe in You, I don’t have to see You with my physical eyes. Help me understand Your word, grow and live a life that reflects my faith. May my belief in You bring me closer to You and be an example to lead others to You, in Jesus name I pray, Amen.🙏🏽
