Happy 4th of July

Galatians 5:1,

"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery."

This verse emphasizes the liberty believers have in Christ and encourages us  to resist being subjected to any form of bondage or legalistic requirements. It also highlights the core message of Galatians, salvation and freedom come through faith in Christ, not through adherence to the law. 

Father God, thank You for the gift of freedom and the blessings we experience everyday. Today this 4th of July we remember all the sacrifices made by those who fought for our independence. We pray for our family, friends, leaders, and ask for wisdom, guidance, and hearts that seek Your truth. Grant us unity, justice and peace. Help us to return to the

Christian moral principles and ideas that influenced the Founding Fathers to build this nation. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
