Happy Sunday

James 4:6

"But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

This verse is part of a larger discussion in James about conflict, worldliness, and the importance of submitting to God. James is calling believers to turn away from the world's ways and embrace a humble, God-centered perspective.

The verse also highlights God's favor towards those who humble themselves before Him and seek His will, while indicating His opposition to those who are proud, arrogant and self centered.

Father God, I pray that I would stay humble and resists being proud and arrogant. All good things are from You and everything belongs to You. Help us to cultivate a spirit of humility as a path to receiving Your grace and favor. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.🙏🏽
