PSALM 22:14-18

I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint. My heart has turned to wax; it has melted within me. My mouth is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth; you lay me in the dust of death. Dogs surround me, a pack of villains encircles me; they pierce my hands and my feet. All my bones are on display; people stare and gloat over me. They divide my clothes among them and cast lots for my garment.

Psalm 22 was written by David about one thousand years before Jesus was born, and prophetically describes what happened during His crucifixion.

In Luke, Jesus says “Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms.”

Father God, thank You for the price payed for us on the cross.  When we go through difficult times in life regardless the situation, may we find comfort knowing Jesus, Your own Son, who was perfect experienced the depths of human suffering. During challenging times grant us peace with the assurance of Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave nor forsake us. In Jesus name we pray, Amen….🙌🏽
