Happy Father’s Day weekend.

Proverbs 23:24 says, "The father of a righteous son will rejoice greatly, and one who fathers a wise son will delight in him."

This proverb serves as a reminder to parents to strive for righteousness in their children and emphasizes the joy parents experience when their children are righteous and wise.

It highlights the value of instilling character and wisdom in children’s development and how these qualities will bring happiness to parents.

The "righteous son," is a child who is morally upright, just, and living a life that aligns with God's will and includes honesty, integrity, and obedience to God's laws. 

Father God, may we live a life pleasing to You and bring honor to our fathers name whether he is still with us or has gone on to be with You by striving to be righteous and wise. We know that if we please you, it will make his heart glad. May our life align with Your will  so both our earthly and Heavenly Father will rejoice in us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.🙏🏽
