1Samuel 1-2

And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation. There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.

While worshipping at the tabernacle, Hannah wept and prayed to the Lord for a child.She covenanted with the Lord that if she were given a son, she would give him to the Lord.

Hannah was acknowledging God's sovereignty and embracing his faithfulness. We serve the same God that didn't abandon her and He wont abandon us when we seek Him. Our God always knows exactly what we're going through.

Father God, may we always call upon You and not just in our time of sorrow. Give us wisdom to make the correct decisions and strength to bear our heavy burdens. Father, we don't always know what someone else is going through so give us understanding to comfort each other. I pray for Your healing touch over those who love You and our friends and family members. Mend any brokenness in their heart and bring light to their darkness. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.🙏🏽
