Happy Sunday
Isaiah 12:2
"Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation."
This verse encourages us to trust in God and His strength, rather than relying on our own. When we rely on God, we can live without fear, knowing He's our source of power and strength.
Hebrews 3:13
Take care, brothers and sisters that there will not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God.
This verse should serve as a warning to believers not to allow stubbornness, sin, or a lack of faith to rob us of God's promised blessings.
Our Father in Heaven loves us because he chose to love us in spite of our failures. He loved us while we were still sinners, (Romans 5:8) and he will never stop loving us.
The ultimate consequence of denying the truth and saying no to God is eternal separation from Him. Evil in an unbelieving heart will lead to a separation from the living God that the bible describes as a place of despair, of “outer darkness” where “there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matt. 8:12).
Father God, forgive us for our sins. We believe Jesus died for them and rose again. Thank You our salvation begins with faith in Jesus and acknowledging He did everything on the cross needed for us to be rescued from the separation from You. Help us seek Your Word daily and have faith You'll lead us on the path to lambs book of life. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.🤲🏽
