The world says "Be true to your self but in John 14:15 Jesus said, “If you love me, keep my commands.”

If we truly love God....we will obey His commandments, it should not be because we have to or as a punishment, but on the contrary, the obedience part is a by product of that love for Him.

As followers of Jesus, we should be happy to keep God's commands. It's definitely not always easy to love everyone, but as “Ambassadors for the cross" we not only represent but should advocate for the teachings and values of Christianity, especially for the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. God's Word says we should love people to reveal His ultimate love.

Father God, today we pray You’d  help us to love You more with both the good and the bad that befalls us. Please give us the strength of Samson and wisdom Solomon to keep your commandments and follow Your will for our lives. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
