1 Peter 3:9 says: Don't repay evil for evil. Don't retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing.

Slow down breathe before speaking. This discerning verse reminds us that our reactions to negativity can redefine our reality.

Revenge is not the right option. Believers in Christ are set apart to a new purpose.  Believers in Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, etc... are not mocked the way Christians are so we’re likely to experience both physical harms and insults for faith in Christ.

The world's impulse is to strike back but Peter commands us to refuse that instinct and instead of repaying evil with evil - those in Christ are to "bless," or give a blessing.

A blessing to another whose wronged you is a positive statement as a Christian. There's no question God would want us to lend a hand to help another succeed in some way so they might experience His favor.

Father God, we come before You with humble hearts aware of our human failings, but trust in Your Mercy and Compassion to help us be a blessing to others regardless the circumstances so we will be rewarded with a blessing from You. In Jesus name we pray, Amen 🙏🏽....
