Recovery Update: Rest and Gratitude

Great news, everyone! Mom is out of recovery and resting comfortably in her private hospital room.

At this time, we kindly ask that you refrain from visiting, as Carmen needs to focus on her recovery. Never FEAR, though - Hondo and Patsy (our family's resident comedic duo) are NEAR & have stepped up to keep her entertained. I'm pretty sure I heard them reenacting "Nexflex" and "Baqbaq" skits earlier, while talking about the threadmill.

Meanwhile, I'm headed to Georgetown for work, but we promise to keep you all posted on Mom's progress. Please continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers - the outpouring of support means the world to Mom & our family. We are filled with gratitude for your care and concern.
